Life doesn't always go according to plan. In more recent times the stresses and demands of every day life and work have seen more people seeking support. Instances of anxiety, depression, mental unwellness and burnout are on the rise. Even though some may hesitate in seeking support it can make a significant difference in finding a path forward.

I provide counselling support particularly where the needs are complex. This is often working with those experiencing complex trauma through grief and loss, sexual abuse, addictions, domestic violence, and relationship conflict. The aim is to get you back on your feet and equipped with the tools and strategies to manage these challenges and get life back on track.

Working in Christian ministry, paid or voluntary, can be challenging, and it is necessary that you have the right support to deliver your best. A valuable part of this support is Professional Supervision with someone who can help you focus on strategies and relationships within your ministering environment. 

Many Churches and faith organisations have made supervision mandatory as part of ensuring leaders and those they serve are cared for and supported.

My aim is to support you in your role, drawing on many years of experience in working in local churches, chaplaincy, mission support, senior leadership, and church organisations.

My counselling background allows me to support those with complex needs, especially those dealing with burnout or other significant health issues.

With over 15 years of supporting those in ministry across a variety of Christian denominations and faith backgrounds, I am able to assist you in exploring new avenues for developing your skills and gifts.

It is not a case of just giving you answers and a suite of tools, but rather supporting you in identifying the resources you already have or those you need to make your own choices. You will have someone in your corner cheering you on when you succeed, and supporting you if you stumble. With extensive experience in ministry and community leadership, in ministries within local churches, chaplaincy, mission support, pastoral care and senior leadership, I can guide you along your ministry pathway, helping you to achieve all that you can for the Lord.

One thing is certain for all Christians – we are not perfect and sometimes we fall. For Church Leaders this can mean the removal from their position. In some circumstances the Lord will open up the opportunity to be restored to serving in leadership.

If you are in this situation and are seeking a pathway back, I can assist you to explore this possibility. I can facilitate a formal process of exploring a return to licenced ministry for clergy & church workers who have previously been withdrawn from ministry. This involves review of the circumstances, negotiations with all parties, facilitating the process of discernment, and recommendations at the conclusion.
